While the 10 rules are a basis for the Diet Generator, they can be followed more loosely according to your own nutrition choices. One of the important tenets of this diet is that they emphasize fat loss rather than simple weight loss.
- An add-on option, which is now available as a package with the “10 Rules,” The Diet Generator is designed for quicker weight loss, and produces an individualized weight loss program including 4 meals per day. This plan allows you to choose your favorite foods (up to 30 total) from a pre-determined list, even including a vegetarian option. Then, an 11-day meal plan is customized for you. You can create as many individualized 11-day plans as you want once you have purchased the program.

Are there any bonus features?

- The myth of wheat bread – a basic explanation of the nutritional ingredients (or lack thereof) in regular wheat bread.
- The myth of salads – an explanation of what NOT to put on your salad in order to make it the healthy side dish you’re looking for.

- The program doesn’t require a large amount of time dedicated to exercise – just 30 minutes 3 times per week.

Cons
- While choosing foods from a list might help you stick to the diet, you might also tire of the foods on the list – even if the diet starts over every 11 days.
- Some of the tenets of the diet may be a bit over-simplified.
- No matter how positive their exercise plan, we question their statement that “you should never do intense aerobic exercise.” While it may not decrease your fat stores, intense aerobic exercise is certainly still good for your body.
Will Fat Loss 4 Idiots work for YOU?
There is no research cited on the website, which leaves us a bit skeptical as to its potential outcome. However, while the diet might have its short-comings in the exercise department, sometimes simpler is better. If you’re interested in losing fat, and are able to motivate, control, and evaluate your eating habits, then Fat Loss 4 Idiot’s Diet Handbook sets up some positive guidelines for you to follow. If you struggle to monitor yourself as far as your food intake, the Diet Handbook will be nothing more than a quick read, since you are pretty much on your own. However, if you have some self-control this program will have you well on your way to shedding that excess fat.
