Diet Pills and Supplements

Those interested in au natural weight loss options might be interested in Phenterfein, marketed as an all-natural herbal option to the prescription drug, Phentermine. The goal of this over-the-counter herbal formula is to use stimulant-like ingredients to energize you and aid you in your goal to lose weight.

What’s in it?

Although it is marketed as the all-natural version of Phentermine, the two supplements really have little in common. Phenterfein contains a number of herbs, like Rhodiola Rosea, Evodiamine, Citrus Aurantium, Salvia Sclarea, Yohimbe, and vitamins and minerals. Some of the vitamins and minerals include Pantothenic Acid, Niacin, and Thiamin.

How does it work?

Each herb included in Phenterfein has an intended use, as described below:

  • Rhodiola Rosea: stimulates nervous system
  • Evodiamine: has antioxidant properties, with possible thermogenic properties
  • Citrus Aurantium: enhances energy, burns fat
  • Salvia Sclarea: increases fat breakdown
  • Yohhimbe: enhances physical stamina
  • Caffeine: boosts metabolism

These herbs work together to control stress hormones released by the body, which are believed to contribute to weight retention. Rhodiola rosea also may break down fat through the use of the enzyme lipase. By increasing your energy levels and your endurance and helping you sleep more fitfully, Phenterfein promises to provide you with the vigor to work out and the ability to rest up and recuperate more quickly.

Who does it work for?

There are testimonials available on Phenterfein’s website, but we were surprised by the lack of information they had to offer. Testimonials included brief 1-2 sentence blurbs about the effectiveness of the product, which doesn’t give us any idea about the demographic of dieter Phenterfein is working for. However, the website does recommend using this supplement in conjunction with a healthy diet and exercise, which we find to be a step in the right direction.

Are there possible side effects?

We were impressed also that Phenterfein’s website actually included a list of side effects, which are often difficult to locate on a company’s website. Phenterfein’s warnings include avoiding this supplement if you are taking any prescription drug or a number of other specific conditions from heart disease to a chocolate allergy.

Also included in the list of people who should avoid Phenterfein are pregnant or nursing women, someone who is mentally ill, suffers from migraines, or is taking asthma medication. Of course, we agree with Phenterfein’s most important warning, which is to consult your doctor before beginning this or any other weight loss program.

Are there any “bonus” features?

There are currently no bonus offers available, which makes Phenterfein one of the more expensive supplements out there. You are able to purchase 120 pills for $79.99, but since you can take 1-3 capsules per day, this supply could be gone in just 40 days. They do have free shipping available as well.

If you are interested in an all-natural supplement to help promote weight loss, while still maintaining a healthy diet and working out, Phenterfein might be something for you to check out. Using this supplement in conjunction with advice from a nutritionist and/or personal trainer could really help maximize your weight loss.
